The Premise
This is the final instalment in director, Taylor Sheridan's thematic American Frontier trilogy. A trilogy that has already produced two outstanding film in Sicario and Hell or High Water. Wind River comes out strong with a powerful opening sequence with a haunting run through the snow that leads to the death of young lady. This opener is the moment that this whole film then centres on, a despicable crime and hunter who must find the predator.
