Based on the bestselling novel by James Dashner, The Maze Runner is set in a distopian future. Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) wakes up in lift with no memory of his past. The lift opens up to The Glade – a large, open expanse surrounded by a concrete maze – where other boys (also with no memory of how or why they are there) have been living for the past three years. The only thing they do know is that every morning the doors to the maze opens, every night they close, and that every 30 days someone new arrives in the lift.
