Andr? Rieu: “I am so much looking forward to finally coming back to Christchurch for the first time in five years and to Auckland after three years. I remember well the first time I performed in New Zealand. It felt like people were waiting for us to come for a long time and they gave us such a warm welcome,” he says. “I have never experienced that anywhere else and I can’t wait to see you all again 2016.”
On 13th November 2015 Andr? released his brand new album Roman Holiday (Universal Music) which features well-loved favourites such as Gabriel’s Oboe, Mascagni’s famous intermezzo from Cavalleriarusticana, Mattinata, Felicit?, Arrivederci Roma and excerpts from Verdi’s La Traviata and Puccini’s
Madama Butterfly as well as his 2015 Maastricht DVD Wonderful World (Universal Music).
On stage Andr?’s incredible musical prowess, passion, charisma and humour make for a magical spectacle.
