Frooze Balls, made by home-grown Kiwi company Alive Foods, are finding fans at home and internationally.
Business partners Jeremy Dixon and Phil Nilsson are delighted to see Frooze Balls become the healthy snack food choice for thousands of New Zealanders.
Jeremy, the creator of the popular Revive Cafes and Revive Cookbooks, says ‘most snack products come loaded with salt, sugar, MSG, caffeine, white flour and chemicals, which just aren’t good for you!' Phil is an engineer who ‘loves making little machines which solve problems and maximise production’.

Frooze Balls come in five delicious flavours, Original, Apricot, Banana, Cranberry and brand new Peanut Butter. Because the balls contain only blended fruit and nuts, they are dairy, wheat, gluten and caffeine-free, making a fabulous treat food for people with those allergies.
Jeremy and Phil started out in 2008 by rolling Frooze Balls in a back room at Phil’s. Today Frooze Balls are distributed through all Foodstuffs and Countdown supermarkets and 600 smaller stores nationwide, with markets about to open in the USA and Australia.
