Terms & Conditions: Books vs Film Vote & Win Competition
IN BRIEF
- Each week (for four weeks) there will be a new match-up. You can vote each week, but no matter how many times you vote you'll have one entry in the grand prize draw.
- To enter into the draw to win you must: enter your email; be a New Zealand resident; sign-up to the Harper Collins email list; sign-up to the Flicks.co.nz email list.
- If you are already on the HarperCollins or Flicks.co.nz email lists you can still enter. Neither will send you double up emails.
- You can of course unsubscribe at any time from either list.
SCHEDULE
- Week starting November 1: Behind the Candelabra
- Week starting November 8: Divergent
- Week starting November 15: Labor Day
- Week starting November 22: The Hobbit
PRIZES
- Winners are selected at random.
- Weekly Prize: one winner per week will win both the DVD and Book of the relevant weekly draw.
- Grand Prize: one winner will win a handpicked selection of HarperCollins Publishers titles, Flicks.co.nz's favourite DVDs, plus a private film screening for you and 20 mates at any Hoyts Cinema in New Zealand.
- Weekly winners are announced on each Friday of the competition, and the Grand Prize winner is announced on November 28.
PRIVACY
- Information submitted will be used ONLY to tally votes, select winners, and by Flicks.co.nz and/or HarperCollins to add to email subscription lists.
- Your information will not be shared with any other party.
FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- By entering this competition on Flicks.co.nz, on Flicks.co.nz's Facebook tab or on HarperCollins' Facebook tab, you accept these terms and conditions:
a) Winners will be notified by email. A valid email address must be submitted via the entry form.
b) Prize winners will be determined by a random draw from all entries received before the closing date, unless otherwise specified. Prizes not claimed in a reasonable or specified duration of time may be re-drawn. The winner must be able to take the prize as is, when is, as stated or else it is forfeited.
c) Judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
d) Prizes can’t be exchanged for cash or other property and are subject to the terms and conditions and refund policies of the advertiser or promoter that is sponsoring the competition or providing the prizes.
e) Each winner acknowledges that neither Flicks.co.nz nor advertisers and competition sponsors accept responsibility or liability for any harm, damage, expense, loss or injury which may occur as a result of the winner claiming the prizes and/or using the prizes. Each winner shall accept and use the prizes at their own risk.
f) Winners must be New Zealand residents.
