How to enter
To enter the competition, entrants must use the online form and complete all required details including a valid email address and mobile number, or sign up to the Careers NZ e-newsletter.
The competition is open to all New Zealand residents or citizens, with the exception of employees of Careers New Zealand, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
Careers New Zealand accepts no responsibility for any entries that fail to reach Careers New Zealand by the closing date for any reason. Following the close of the competition a random draw will be conducted by an independent person.
Prize winner notification
The prize winners will be notified by phone or email on or before 30 June 2014. If we haven’t managed to get hold of you after three attempts, Careers NZ reserves the right to select another winner in accordance with the competition terms and conditions. If the prize is not claimed within two weeks of successful notification it shall be deemed forfeited.
The owner of the mobile phone number or email address whose entry is successfully drawn will be considered the winner of the prize.
Prizes will be sent to winners by courier or post. The winners may be required to provide formal identification, such as a birth certificate or driver’s licence. Please allow two weeks for the delivery of prizes.
The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable.
If the specified prize is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances Careers New Zealand may substitute another prize of similar or equal value.
Use of your personal details
The winners agree to take part in reasonable post-competition publicity and to the use of their name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes. The winners agree that no additional compensation will be paid.
All entrants' personal details will be held by Careers New Zealand and may be used for the purpose of the competition, and to provide you with careers advice and services. We don’t show your information to anyone else unless you tell us it's ok.
Entrants are able to access and amend personal details in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Your responsibilities
The winners take their prize entirely at their own risk and release Careers New Zealand, its employees and anyone else connected with the organisation from any claim for any accident, injury, damages or losses that may be associated with the prize.
By entering the competition, entrants agree to its terms and conditions and confirm the entrant has the authority (e.g from the bill payer or owner of a mobile phone) to do so.
Careers New Zealand reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the competition on reasonable grounds. Careers New Zealand also reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to an entrant who has violated the competition terms and conditions, gained unfair advantage, or won using fraudulent means. Careers New Zealand’s determination of the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Careers New Zealand reserves the right to discontinue the promotion at any stage.
