How can one enter the competition?To enter, participants must:
1. Visit the promotional website at https://www.aegpowertools.com.au or https://www.aegpowertools.co.nz, or find the promotional post on AEG's Facebook or Instagram pages.
2. Follow the prompts to access the competition entry form.
3. Complete the entry form with the requested details, including first name, last name, email address, contact number, postcode, and profession.
Only one entry is permitted per person.
What are the prize details?The prize consists of:
- 1x AEG 18V Brushless Sub Compact 63mm Band Saw (Model A18SBSBL630)
- 1x AEG 18V 5.0AH Force Starter Kit (Model A18OSK15G)
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool value is RRP $608 AUD or $694 NZD.
What happens if the winner does not claim the prize?The winner must respond to claim the prize by 5pm AEST on April 25, 2025. If the winner fails to do so, the prize will be forfeited. An unclaimed prize draw may take place on May 2, 2025.
How will the winner be notified?The winner will be notified via email and telephone within seven days of the draw, which will take place on March 7, 2025. The winner’s name will also be published online on the AEG websites by March 14, 2025.
Is there any tax implication for the winner?Yes, entrants are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting their prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise.
