Specific Terms & Conditions
Air New Zealand is offering you and a friend the opportunity to win a trip to England to visit the set of
Coronation Street. To enter the draw, when you hear the cue to call on Coast, be the first caller
through and correctly answer the trivia question randomly selected by TVNZ1. All correct answers will
be put in the draw for a chance to win.
The competition opens at 6am on 20th August 2018 and closes at 6pm 7
th September 2018 (The
“Promotion Period”). NZME can change the Promotional Period at any time.
Mechanics:
? Coast will take a caller on-air to answer the ‘Coronation Street Trivia’ question.
? If the nominated caller gets the question wrong, they do not go in the draw to win. No further
questions or chances to enter will be offered.
? If the nominated caller gets the question right, they will go in the draw to win the prize
described below.
? The prize winner will be randomly selected by the promoter at the end of the promotional
period and will be notified by an on-air call.
The Prize
? Return Economy airfares for two (2) people (travelling together) from any Air New Zealand
serviced domestic airport to London. Tour of the Coronation Street Set for two (2). $1,500
NZD spending money for accommodation and transfers in the United Kingdom. (“Travel
Prize”).
Specific rules
? Upon selecting a winning entrant, the Promoter will attempt to call the winning entrant a
minimum of three times before the entrant forfeits the prize and the Promoter will select a
new winner to award The Prize.
? All entrants (And if they win their selected travelling companion) must be 18+ years of age to
be eligible to win.
? The Promoter reserves the right to add and change the mechanics or the number of entries in
the draw at any time.
? All Promoter decisions regarding the promotion, including answers to the trivia questions, are
final and no correspondence will be entered into.
? The Travel Prize may not be used over New Zealand school Holidays or from 15 December 2018
to 15 January 2019.
? The Winner and travelling companion must be available to travel Before June 2019. If they
cannot travel on these dates, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter may select a new
winner.
? The Winner and their companion will be responsible for any expenses associated with the
prize that are not specifically included in the prize including (Where applicable) Visas,
transport, meal costs, spending money, insurance, laundry charges, activities, incidentals,
taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the Travel
Prize), gratitudes, service charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated
with redeeming the Travel Prize.
? Flights must be booked 14 days prior to travel and are subject to booking and flight
availability. Travel will need to be completed before Sunday 21 June 2019, unless to a
destination with seasonal flights. Travel during New Zealand Public or School Holidays, or
large events, is not permitted.
? Travel is not permitted to commence from any origin point outside of New Zealand.
Stopovers or stopovers within transit are not permitted. Prize winner and his/her guests must
travel together on the same flights in both directions. Any prize details not specified above
will be determined by the Promoters in their sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable,
exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is available on Air New Zealand operated services
only.
? As noted in the General Terms to this Promotion, the winner and travelling companion are
responsible for ensuring the correct documentation for entry into Scotland and must obtain
travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of
unforeseen circumstances.
? The Winner and travelling companion will at times act responsibly so as to not to harm the
reputation of the Promoter while taking up the Travel Prize. This includes observing standards
of social responsibly while consuming alcohol.
