Terms and Conditions – House of Travel & New Zealand Woman's Weekly New York Reader Competition
1. Information on how to participate forms part of these conditions. By submitting an entry online, via post and otherwise participating in this campaign, participants agree to by bound by these conditions. Submissions must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years of age and over.
3. Employees of Bauer Media Group (NZ) LP (the "Promoter"), House of Travel (the "Sponsor"), and any agency associated with this campaign (the "Prize Partners"), and the immediate families of such employees, are ineligible to enter.
4. The campaign commences at 09:00 NZT on August 26, 2018 and closes at 23:59 NZT on September 16, 2018 ("Campaign Period"). Submissions must be received by the Promoter during the Campaign Period. Submissions received after the Campaign Period will not be accepted.
5. To participate, participants must, during the Campaign Period:
(a) enter by completing the entry form and submitting via the entry portal at www.nowtolove.co.nz or
(b) post their entry along with their name, address and phone number to: Woman’s Day/New York, Response Bag 500276, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142.
6. This competition is a game of chance. All valid entries will be collated and winners selected at random. Selection will take place at the offices of the Promoter. Winners will be notified by phone, using the details provided with an entry prior to 17:00 NZT on September 16, 2018.
7. One participant ("Winner”), with a guest of their choice, will receive return economy United Airlines flights to New York, America. The prize includes return economy United Airlines flights for two adults from Auckland to New York, America and a $1,500 House of Travel gift card to use towards accommodation and activities of your choice.
8. Entries are limited to one per person.
9. The prize is worth up to $6500 NZD in value. The Promoter is not responsible for any changes made to the prize package by the Prize Partners. The prize must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferrable or redeemable for cash. Winners and their guest must have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months eligibility from the departure date. By registering their details, participants also give the Promoter permission to post, email and mobile text message updates.
10. The Promoter and the Sponsor have the right to reject entries or re-draw Winners:
(a) who have been involved in unlawful activity or anything the Promoter and the Sponsor deems inappropriate; or
(b) if a participant has not complied with these terms and conditions; or
(b) if the Promoter is unable to contact the winner by using the contact details provided by the participant, by 17:00 NZT on September 20, 2018.
11. Flights are subject to availability. Flights must booked through House of Travel and travel is valid for one year from October 29, 2018. Flights must be operated by United Airlines. Flight prize includes taxes. Flights must be booked at least four weeks in advance of departure dates.
12. All standard House of Travel booking and gift card terms and conditions apply.
13. Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded.
14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry, misdirected entries or incomplete entries, or for inaccurate information provided with an entry, or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the campaign.
13. All submissions remain the property of the Promoter. Details from submissions will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this campaign (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the campaign) and for promotional purposes surrounding this campaign. By participating in this campaign, participants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter and/or Sponsor may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the participant.
