Viva has partnered with Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii Tourism and Outrigger Hotels and Resorts to give away four fabulous trips for two to Hawaii this year.
This competition is for the fourth and final trip for two, worth $7,000.
Prize details
Two Economy return tickets from Auckland to Honolulu with Hawaiian Airlines and also includes two Strata Lounge Auckland Airport passes at Auckland International Airport, and four nights’ accommodation at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort on Oahu.
Competition runs from the 22nd of November until the 1st of December.
SPECIFIC COMPETITION TERMS
Viva (which is brought to you by NZME Publishing Ltd) has partnered with Hawaiian
Airlines, Hawaii Tourism and Outrigger Hotels and Resorts (together, ‘The Promoters’) to
give away four fabulous trips for two to Hawaii this year. This competition is for the fourth
and final trip for two.
Entry is only open to New Zealand residents 18 years and older. Employees of the
Promoters and agencies associated with the Promotion and the immediate families of
those employees are ineligible for entry.
Entries close at 12am Friday 01 December 2017.
Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, NZME may use his or her details
(including name, suburb/town, and photo) for publicity, including by publishing their
details in Viva (print and/or online) and for other publicity purposes.
How to Enter:
To enter the Promotion, all participants must complete the online entry form on the Viva
win page. The form must be completed in full to be considered a valid entry.
Prize details:
Two Economy return tickets from Auckland to Honolulu with Hawaiian Airlines and also
includes two Strata Lounge Auckland Airport passes at Auckland International Airport,
and four nights’ accommodation at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort on Oahu, to a
total value of $7,000 (‘Prize’).
Flights must be booked by 31 January 2018 and taken by 30 August 2018. Bookings
cannot be made during peak flight closeouts periods being between 15 December 2017 to
20 January 2018, 09 April to 20 April 2018, 01 July to 15 July 2018. The Winner and their
traveling companion must by over 18 years of age and must travel together.
Bookings using the Prize package will be arranged directly between the Promoters and
the Winner and are subject to the winner promptly providing to the Promoter all correct
information requested. Once bookings are made, no changes are permitted.
Accommodation stay dates subject to availability.
The Winner will be responsible for any expenses not expressly included in the Prize,
including, transfers to and from their place of residence to Auckland International Airport,
expenses such as spending money, meals, drinks, transport, laundry charges, activities,
incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included
within the Travel Prize), gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance
and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Travel Prize.
As noted in the General Terms to this Promotion, the Winner and travelling companion
are responsible for ensuring the correct documentation for entry into Hawaii and to obtain
travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of
unforeseen circumstances. Travelers must hold valid passports with a minimum of 6
months validity at time of travel. The Promoters cannot be held responsible for the
traveler being unable to participate in the travel due to visa or other restrictions. Any
fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such travel documents
not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the
travelers.
Winners will be notified by phone or email and will be announced in Viva. Prizes cannot be
exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered
into. Winners will be randomly drawn within one week of the competition closing date. If
the Prize is not claimed within 3 days from the draw date the Prize is forfeit and the
promoters may re-draw a new winner.
The Promoters reserve the right to vary the terms, and to modify, terminate or
reschedule the Promotion, and to substitute any of the prizes for a similar prize of the
same value.
The Promoters are not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without
limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with
the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act
1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promotion is subject to these Specific terms and conditions, the General terms and
conditions below, all terms and conditions on all tickets and those of the participating
airlines, service providers and venues.
Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
