SELL YOUR HOUSE COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering this competition, you are agreeing to following the Competition Terms and Conditions:
Competition opens 17 June 2018 and closes 14 July 2018. ChoiceTV and HGTV reserve the right to amend the closing date at any time.
The Prize Package is worth $16,000 and will consists of:
a. Mike Pero Prize Package worth $10,000 – Real Estate package i. The winner will receive a $10,000 + gst commission reduction on the sale of their home in New Zealand, courtesy of Mike Pero Real Estate Limited (hereafter known as MPRE). The administration fee will also be waived (normally $490+gst). The prize includes some complimentary marketing including property website advertising (base level); a free Property TV Commercial, TV3; free signage; free colour brochures. Specifically excluded is further advertising that the winner may be advised to consider. ii. Based upon an example sale price of a home at $400,000 the commission and administration fee would be $14,018. The prize can only be redeemed in an area or region that MPRE is represented within. iii. The prize is not transferable and must be redeemed (listed and sold) before 30 June 2019. The commission reduction of $10,000+gst is limited to a property with a sale price of not less than $350,000. For properties below a commission level of $10,000 MPRE will not provide a credit for the commission difference. The listing of the sale shall be in strict accordance with the standard and best practices of MPRE. The listing shall be exclusive and not a general agency. If the property does not sell in 90 days (or within a further 90 days by mutual consent) then the prize shall be deemed to have been delivered. If another real estate office introduces a buyer and there is an expectation of a fee to be paid to that company then that shall not be the responsibility or the cost of MPRE. The winner agrees to cooperate and participate in any reasonable media exposure that MPRE should request, this includes photography and open homes.
b. Grace Prize Package worth $3,000 – Relocation package i. The $3,000 credit applies to moves with moving and packing services (ex GST) in our New Zealand service areas. ii. Applies to moving and packing services for private household moves only. iii. Insurance, valet, and other ancillary services are excluded from this offer. iv. Offer valid until 30 June 2019, and is subject to availability.
c. Smart Staging Prize Package worth $3,000 – House Staging Package i. House Staging to the value of $3,000, offer valid until 1 July 2019. ii. The lucky winner is entitled to a full home staging for a five-week period, including their lounge, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor area. iii. For a longer staging period then a per week charge can be arranged. iv. This prize package will include: initial consultation with the winner, delivery and installation of furniture. We will also offer advice on how best to keep the furniture looking fantastic throughout the campaign. v. The team will also collect the furniture once the property is sold. vi. Smart Staging will either stage an empty investment house, unit or apartment, or a home the winner is living in depending on their circumstances.
The winners will be notified by email by ChoiceTV and HGTV.
Prize winners will be picked at random.
The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Entry is limited to one per person.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
Offer is only open to residents of New Zealand, except employees and their immediate families of The Promoter and its agencies associated with the promotion (including ChoiceTV and HGTV)
The winner’s details, names and photographs and any filmed footage recorded during the prize may be used for publicity purposes by ChoiceTV and HGTV and partners and entrants agree that they must make themselves available for this purpose and will not seek rights, copyright or remuneration for this.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, misdirected, late, inaccurate entries.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting any entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
By entering the competition, all entrants agree their details may be passed on to the prize partners, and be contacted by Choice TV, HGTV and our partners.
The winner takes the prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies ChoiceTV and HGTV and its partners in respect of any claim for accident, injury, property damage or loss of life in connection with this prize.
The winner is responsible for all insurance, tax, or other costs that may be associated with the prize.
