McDonald’s has introduced two new delicious burgers for summer, the Backyard Beef Burger and the Seaside Fish Burger, both inspired by Macca’s New Zealand Facebook fans.
Last summer, McDonalds asked its 360,000 Facebook fans to put forward their suggestions for a summertime burger, inspired by their favourite part of the country. The result was two new limited time burgers strongly reflecting the sea and the land.
The Backyard Beef Burger includes a juicy 100% NZ beef patty topped with BBQ sauce, garlic mayo, onion, tangy pickle, fresh crisp lettuce and a slice of tomato atop a rasher of bacon and a slice of cheese, all served on a wheat germ bun.
