Late last year, a ‘cracking’ new invention hit the market, thanks to the talents of one young inventor from Taranaki.
Ayla Hutchinson was discussing ideas for her upcoming school science fair project with her mother who was busy chopping kindling. When the axe fell and almost took her mother’s finger with it, Ayla thought there must be an easier and safer way.
Since then, the Kindling Cracker has met the market head on, winning awards and orders for its creator.
