Hotel, and Destination Rotorua (together the ’Sponsors’) are giving you a chance to win a family adventure for four to Rotorua
(the ‘Promotion’).
The Promotion opens 12:01am Tuesday 30 March 2021, and closes at 11:59pm Thursday 22 April 2021 (the ‘Promotion
Period’).
How to enter
1. To be eligible, you must be 18 years or over, a current paid print or digital NZ Herald or current paid NZME Regional
print publication subscriber at the time of the prize draw at 9am on Friday 23 April 2021.
2. Enter the prize draw by completing the competition entry form at nzherald.co.nz/win. Entrants must complete all
mandatory fields including first name, last name, email address, phone number and agree to the Specific and
Standard Competition terms and conditions.
3. All valid, complete, eligible entries will go in the draw to win.
The Prize
One (1) Prize winner (“Winner”) will receive:
? Four (4) nights’ accommodation in a two-room suite at the historic Prince’s Gate Hotel for a family of four (4) (2
adults and 2 children).
? One (1) Family Movie Pass (four tickets) to see Tom & Jerry: The Movie. Tickets are accepted in all participating NZ
cinemas.
? One (1) $200 Petrol voucher.
? A total of $500 Spending money delivered in Prezzy® cards. Prezzy® card Terms and Conditions.
? Family passes to the best of Rotorua’s activities: ZORB, Skyline Gondola + Luge rides, The National Kiwi Hatchery
Aotearoa, Rotorua Duck Tours, aMAZEme, Redwoods Treewalk, Waikite Thermal Hot Pools & Waimangu Volcanic
Valley (together, the “Prize”)
Ten (10) x runners-up will receive a Tom & Jerry: The Movie activity book, sticker sheet and family movie pass (admits 4) to
see Tom & Jerry: The Movie at any participating cinemas in New Zealand from April 15, 2021 for the duration of its theatrical
release.
Winning the Prize
? The Winner and 10 x runners-up will be drawn at random at 9am on Friday 23 April 2021 by an NZME
representative. NZME will attempt to contact the selected entry using the contact details provided a maximum of
three (3) times. If NZME is unable to contact the entrant, the Prize is forfeited and NZME may select another winner.
? NZME will notify Destination Rotorua who will coordinate with the Winner to arrange delivery of the Prize.
? Hotel and activity bookings in Rotorua can be made for dates up to 31 October 2021 and are subject to availability.
? All additional costs not included in the Prize, including travel insurance, food, alcoholic beverages and other
incidentals are the responsibility of the Winner. Please see Standard Promotion or Competition Rules No. 20 for

? The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

PRINCE’S GATE HOTEL & DESTINATION ROTORUA
? The National Kiwi Hatchery Aotearo Peak kiwi chick season is October to March but on occasion, there are a few
late hatches in April. Seeing a kiwi chick close up really is an incredible experience, so it would be worth adjusting
your visit accordingly. October is the busiest month, and is also ‘Save Kiwi Month’!
? Please check the individual tourism operators’ websites for any age or health restrictions to be followed.
? Prince’s Gate accommodation is subject to availability; we recommend booking as early as possible.
? A representative from Destination Rotorua will make all travel bookings as outlined in the Prize for the Prize Winner.
? Some blackout periods for specific Rotorua activities may apply and will be advised by Destination Rotorua.
? The main Prize winning family of four (4) may bring additional children however all costs in connection with any
additional children is the responsibility of the Prize Winner. This includes additional bedding in the hotel room, cot
and babysitting when a child is under the minimum age and height for an activity that is part of the Prize.
UNIVERSAL PICTURES
? ‘Universal Pictures’ means Universal Pictures International NZ Limited and all companies in the Universal Pictures
Group and all brands and operating companies controlled by or associated with those entities, including but not
limited to Universal, Warner Bros and eOne.
? To the fullest extent permitted by law Universal Pictures will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
(including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or
winning the Prize.
? Universal Pictures, its related companies, and agencies associated with this Promotion, will not be liable for any loss,
claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (‘Loss’) suffered by any person in any way associated with the Promotion
including as a result of participation in the Promotion or use of the offer, except where such Loss cannot be excluded
by law.
? Where the Prize is to be supplied by an entity outside Universal Pictures’ control and that entity fails, for whatever
reason, to supply the Prize, Universal Pictures has no responsibility for the provision of the Prize and is not obliged to
provide an alternative Prize or to take legal action to require the Prize supplier to provide the Prize.
Other Terms and Conditions
? These terms and conditions may be amended and the Promotion terminated at any time by NZME or the Sponsors.
? NZME’s decisions on all entry and promotion matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
? The Winner and their travelling companions consent to NZME sharing personal information with the Sponsors to the
extent necessary for the Prize to be delivered.

? Attendance of the Winner and their travelling companions on the Prize is subject to the terms, conditions and

? Participants grant (and will ensure their companions also grant) NZME permission to collect and use their name,
