How can one enter the competition?To enter, participants must complete and submit the entry form available at www.winwithsevensharp.co.nz. Each person may only enter once during the entry period and must provide an answer of up to 50 words to the question "What’s on your bucket list to do in New York?"
What's the prize?The prize includes the following:
- Return Business Class flights for two people, flying with Qantas Airways Limited from Auckland International Airport, departing on December 25, 2023, and returning on January 1, 2024.
- 7 nights' accommodation in New York City at The Westin New York at Times Square, from December 25, 2023, to January 1, 2024.
- NZD $5,000 spending money in the form of a Visa Prezzy Card pre-loaded with NZ$5,000.
What is the total worth of the prize?The prize includes Business Class flights, accommodation, and NZD $5,000 spending money, making the total value of the prize package significant.
How is the winner chosen?The winner will be drawn by TVNZ on Friday, September 15, 2023, and will be surprised live on air during the Seven Sharp program on the same date at approximately 7:15 PM.
What are the conditions for the winner?The winner must confirm and book the prize by September 22, 2023. Travel and accommodation must occur between December 25, 2023, and January 1, 2024. The winner is responsible for obtaining their travel visa and travel insurance. Accommodation is subject to availability and the winner is responsible for their own transportation to Auckland International Airport.
How is the prize delivered?TVNZ Blacksand is running the competition, and Qantas Airways Limited will manage the redemption of the flight and spending money prize directly to the winner. TVNZ will not be responsible for any failure of Qantas Airways Limited to deliver the prize.
What are the general terms for entrants?Entrants agree to the competition rules and acknowledge that TVNZ has the final say on the competition. Employees of TVNZ, program producers, associated companies, advertising agencies, and web companies are not eligible to enter. Only one competition entry per person is allowed.
What are the terms for winners?Winners must respond within 48 hours of the prize draw. Prizes cannot be traded for cash, are personal to the winners, and cannot be transferred without agreement. If disqualified, another winner will be selected. TVNZ can record parts of the trip, and winners agree to help if needed. The prize does not include passports, visas, and other travel incidentals.
Are there privacy terms?Personal information provided during entry will be collected and used by TVNZ to conduct the competition, administer it, and promote it. TVNZ may pass on information to the Company for prize fulfillment. Winners may also receive messages from the Company for promotional purposes.
What law governs the competition?The competition and its rules are governed by New Zealand law.
