Who can enter the Ultimate rental package – save a rental listing promotion?

To be eligible to enter, you must be an individual who is 18 years or over and a New Zealand resident who is eligible to enter into a residential tenancy agreement for a rental property in New Zealand.

When does the promotion close?

The promotion starts on April 2, 2024, and runs through until midnight on May 12, 2024 (Promotion Period).

How can one enter the promotion?

To enter the Promotion and be in to win the Prize, during the Promotion Period, you must sign up to realestate.co.nz (if you already have an account, then you do not need to do this again), log in to realestate.co.nz, and save a residential rental property in the area/s you are wanting to rent. At midnight on May 12, 2024, you must have an active realestate.co.nz account and have saved a residential rental property at any time during the Promotion Period.

What are the prizes won and the total prize pool amount?

There is one prize to be won of an ultimate rental package valued at over $20,000. The prize includes various items such as a 2degrees Broadband Fixed Contract, a 12-month Sky TV Subscription, gift vouchers for McDonald's, The Warehouse, Noel Leeming, Nood, and My Food Bag, a BedsRus Bed & Mattress, rental bond cash, cleaner costs cash, moving costs cash, and contents insurance.

How will the winner be determined and notified?

The winner will be determined by a random draw, which will take place on May 13, 2024. The winner will be notified within 72 hours of the prize draw taking place.

What are the Winner Prize Criteria?

In order to be eligible to claim the Prize, the winner must have entered into an agreement as a tenant to rent a residential property in New Zealand during the 6-month period after May 13, 2024.

What happens if the Winner cannot meet the Prize Criteria?

If the winner is unable to satisfy realestate.co.nz that the Winner Prize Criteria is met, the Prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be payable.

Are there any further terms if you are the Winner?

Yes, where the Prize includes goods and/or services provided by a third party, those goods and/or services will be subject to terms and conditions of that third-party supplier. The winner will also need to make themselves reasonably available for promotional/advertising purposes and grant realestate.co.nz certain rights to use their entry details and photos for advertising, publicity, promotion, and marketing purposes.

What is done with personal information collected during the promotion?

When entering the Promotion, realestate.co.nz collects personal information which is used for the purposes of the Promotion and for populating account profiles on realestate.co.nz.

Any other important terms and conditions?

Yes, entrants consent to realestate.co.nz sending saved search/property emails and agree to the website terms and conditions. realestate.co.nz reserves the right to disqualify entries and entrants for false or misleading details, and realestate.co.nz and associated agencies will not be responsible for late, incomplete, lost, or misdirected entries.
