ADVANCED ACTIVE SAFETY SENSING TECHNOLOGY
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow (LSF) - The CR-V’s onboard radar & camera sensors enable the Adaptive Cruise Control to maintain a set following interval by automatically adjusting your cruise control speed up or down when traffic is detected
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) - Reduces the strain of extended driving by helping you maintain your lane position. If the vehicle begins to leave the centre of a detected lane without signalling, the steering automatically adjusts to keep you centred.
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW) - The CR-V incorporates a millimetre wave radar sensor, that helps mitigate the severity of an unavoidable accident by automatically applying strong brake pressure when needed.
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW) - The Road Departure Mitigation system works in conjunction with the Lane Departure Warning sensors to gently correct your course, via steering and braking adjustments, in the event of the vehicle leaving a detected lane.
- Auto High-beam Support System (HSS) - Automatically changes the headlights from low to high beam on a clear road, then back to low beam when following another car or an oncoming vehicle is detected. Combined with Active Cornering Lights, Auto On/Off Lights, Fog lights and LED High Visibility Lights, night driving has never been so easy.
- Driver Attention Monitor - Sometimes it’s hard to keep your focus on the road. The clever new CR-V has your back with it’s Driver Attention Monitor system. Utilizing electronic & steering inputs to calculate driver awareness, the CR-V then offers four gradual visual, audible and tactile alerts to get you back on track.
- LaneWatch Camera (LWC) - Honda's LaneWatch Camera is the next step in blind spot detection. When indicating left, or at the push of a button, a camera mounted under the passenger wing mirror shows a sweeping 80? view – making lane changes safer than ever.
