Conditions of Entry of Kidspot New Zealand “Win 1 of 5 What’s The Hurry books with
ASG Competition
1. Information on how to enter and the related prizes published by the Promoter form part of
these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is Australian Scholarships Group Friendly Society Limited (ABN 21 087 648
879) of 23 – 35 Hanover Street, Oakleigh VIC 3166 (“Promoter”).
3. To be eligible for participation in this competition you must: a) be a New Zealand resident; b)
have a child under 18 years of age and; c) submit the entry form linked to the Kidspot
competition page before the closing date.
Only one entry is permitted per household. Employees (and their immediate families) of the
Australian Scholarships Group Friendly Society Limited (ASG), its affiliates and their
agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any
of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or
by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece,
nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. Five (5) prizes are available to five (5) winners. Each winner will receive a copy of What’s
The Hurry by Kathy Walker valued at $24.95 each.
5. Total prize pool value is $124.75.
6. If the prize package is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to
substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
7. To be eligible to enter the draw to win, you must complete all mandatory fields on the
Kidspot online enquiry form and indicate where requested what activities do you offer to
enable your child to learn through play. Entries must be submitted by 11.59pm NZST 24
September 2017. The five (5) most creative entries as judged by ASG will be deemed the
winners.
8. Winners will be judged on Wednesday 27 September 2017. The winners will be advised by
email and/or telephone call.
9. The prize will be delivered to the winner within six weeks of judging the winning entry.
10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants as
required by law (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify
any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the
Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does
not constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable.
14. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility
and is depended on the Internet service provider used.

15. All entries become the property and copyright of the Promoter. By entering this promotion,
entrants assign copyright in their entry to the Promoter.
16. The Promoter has the right to alter the Conditions of Entry of the promotion at its discretion,
throughout the duration of the promotion, or to amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of this
promotion (including any prize).
17. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective
officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical
difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late,
lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due
to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value
stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f)
acceptance/use of the prize.
18. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner may be required to sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their
absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
19. The Promoter collects entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and
may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties associated with the
Promoter, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize
suppliers, and as required, to Australian or New Zealand regulatory authorities. Entry is
conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless
otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and
profiling purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.
Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the
Promoter.
Privacy: The information you provide is optional. ASG may use this information to assess
your requirements for educational benefits. This information may be shared with related
