The New Zealand Book Council turned 40 this year and what better way to celebrate than a giveaway including a book for each year we’ve been working to inspire a love of reading, writing and books in communities nationwide.
We will choose four winners who will be sent ten books each. We have two piles of books for children to give away (for a range of ages), and two piles of books for adults (including illustrated non-fiction, non-fiction, fiction, and poetry).
Enter the draw by visiting our Facebook page and sharing our giveaway post and leaving a comment about the best book you read in 2013. (If you have a preference for the children’s books, or books for adults just make a note in your comment). If you are not on Facebook you can also enter by email to reception@bookcouncil.org.nz with ’40-book giveaway’ in the subject line and your contact details (and a note of preference for the children’s books, or books for adults) in the body of the email. You can also enter by leaving a comment about the best book you read in 2013 below. Draw closes January 7 2014.
