Lunchbox Theatrical Productions Present Annie. From its Broadway beginnings to the classic film musical, the heart-warming rags-to-riches story of plucky young Annie’s journey from the hard-knock New York orphanage to the luxurious home of billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks, is a tale that has been told all over the world for decades and won numerous major awards. The musical ran for nearly six years on Broadway and was followed by a 1997 revival, with a further revival now playing.
This dazzling international production features a cast of 30 colourful characters led by Britain’s hilarious star of stage and TV screen Su Pollard (Hi-de-Hi!) as the dastardly gin-soaked orphanage Principal Miss Hannigan, while David McAlister, a veteran of the West End stage and TV dramas (The Mousetrap, Dr Who), plays the kindly Daddy Warbucks.
Joining them is MiG Ayesa, who played the lead role in We Will Rock You in London as well as New Zealand; Frazer Hines, best known for playing Joe Sugden in Emmerdale for 22 years, and with 117 episodes of Dr Who to his credit; and two stars of the hit BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo - Sue Hodge, who played waitress Mimi Labonq and John D Collins who played Flying Officer Fairfax.
With some of the best-known songs in musical theatre (Tomorrow, It's The Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street), Annie also boasts spectacular sets, glorious costumes, a hilarious script and of course the adorable dog Sandy.

Vector Arena comes alive over two days as netball fans show their true passion for the game, dressing up and bringing the party atmosphere with them.
